I received a new laptop for a graduation present recently, and on it I've been doing two things that would be of interest here:
First, on a rather cheezy note, I'm writing the horror-nerd's minor wet-dream: A 20-franchise crossover script, in which Rick Myers and Robert and Alex Toulon play a big part (Plus Dr. West the re-animator, for another FM connection). It's not that well put together, but I think it's got spirit, if I may be so bold.
Second, I'm resurrecting my old project of attempting to edit Puppet Master 4 & 5 together. I've tried quite a few times before but on the first attempt... my old laptop crashed, then a few weeks back I struggled in vain with glitchy-ass MPeg clips... Now I've learned to use WMV files, which are working BEAUTIFULLY well. Only thing clearly standing in my way now is a marked lack of experience, and trying to figure out the right selection of scenes and where to put them in order to make a superior (But still compact) film.
